Wireless flood and leak monitoring
The INGICS iBS08F detects water or other conductive liquids when fluid bridges the exposed metal contacts on the sensor head. Whenever the status changes from dry to wet or from wet to dry, the beacon transmits a burst of three BLE advertisements to support rapid gateway notification.
The sensor head supports horizontal or vertical installation and connects to the main unit through a 1-metre cable. Its IP67 enclosure, 2-metre drop protection and -30°C to +75°C operating range make it suitable for plant rooms, data centres, HVAC systems, pipework, bathrooms, kitchens and other leak-prone areas.
Bluetooth 5 Long Range connectivity provides a range of more than 100 metres in open space. The beacon can operate from a replaceable CR2450 battery or a 5 V USB Type-C connection for permanent installations. Its advertising interval can be configured through Android and iOS applications.
