External liquid level detection

INGICS iBS08Q combines a Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 beacon with a capacitive sensor designed to determine when liquid moves above or below a selected level. The sensor pad is installed on the outside of the container, avoiding contact with the fluid and simplifying deployment on existing vessels and equipment.

Detection works through non-metal container walls, including plastic and glass, with a thickness below 12 mm. Typical applications include tanks, water and beverage dispensers, appliances, food containers, and compatible industrial fluid vessels.

Following a liquid status change, the iBS08Q broadcasts three consecutive advertising packets. A compatible INGICS gateway can receive the event and forward it to a server or cloud platform for supervision, replenishment management and automation workflows.
