      The ACR1581U-C1 reader is a hardware capable of reading both in contact and contactless mode. It is manufactured by ACS Advanced Card Systems Ltd., world leader in smart card readers manufacturing.

      This NFC Reader requires the installation of its driver for operation, which can be downloaded here.

      The ACR1581U-C1 has an exceptional reading distance, reaching 7 cm (depending on the type of tag and antenna)

      By default, the ACR1581U-C1 acts as a keyboard emulator of the NFC chip's UID, either ISO 14443 (such as NTAG21x or Mifare Classic), or ISO 15693 (such as ICODE SLIX). The UID reading format can be configured using a tool for Windows, which can be downloaded here.

      The ACR1581U-C1 also supports PC/SC protocol, and is compatible with NFC Tools for Windows, Mac and Linux (currently limited to ISO 14443A).
