The WalletMate from ACS is an NFC reader that operates at 13.56 MHz. It is compatible with ISO 14443 type A and B, MIFARE®, FeliCa and ISO 18092 chips. It is certified by the NFC forum, making it capable of the three NFC modes, namely: card reader/writer, card emulation and peer-to-peer communication.
CCID and PC/SC compliant, this plug-and-play USB NFC device enables interoperability with different devices and applications. It is therefore ideal for integration into various systems to support both physical smart cards and virtual wallet passes.
The WalletMate supports Apple VAS and Google Tap Certified protocols, but is not payment enabled.
The WalletMate is supported by the ACS VAS Test Tool, a tool developed by Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS), designed to test Apple Pay and Google Pay passes with the WalletMate. If you would like to use the ACS VAS testing tool for various development needs, please contact ACS.
